Steroid Punch was an electronic band reverted to two guitars and drum set. I used a guitar amp and a bass amp simultaneously to create a thick middle layer for the lead guitar to sit on. Compositionally, the theme was to use standard instruments in a layered harmonic sense as oppose to a “chord progression” sense, similar to West African drumming . Recorded in one go on May 17th 2013.
